Thousands of fans of Korean boy band JYJ posted photos of themselves on Twitter Wednesday, confirming their participation in the quadrennial parliamentary election. In the pictures taken outside polling stations where they had voted, the fans, mostly in their 20s and 30s urged other people to actively exercise their suffrage as well. They pla to collect the photos until 6p.m when the election finishes.

JYJ members, Park Yoochun plays as Lee Gak in Rooftop Prince drama has always received support from fellow members, Junsu.
Yoochun said, Junsu never missed to watching every episode which also featured actress Han Ji Min as Bak Ha.
"I was very happy when he told that he likes to watch Rooftop Prince. But i was disappointed because he was watching the drama was not impressed with my acting talent, but because he want to see Ji Min."
Ji Min also recognize Junsu's antics who admire her because during the filming set, Yoochun is often talked about Junsu's behavior.
Since the drama broadcasted until episode 4, rating for Rooftop Prince increasing. "Once when i went to restaurant, the older generation does not know me. Now is different, because they will be greeted and told me that they like to watch the drama. The words of the spirit from the audience among the older generation is the impetus for me to do better." 
Rooftop Prince focuses on the Chonsun Era, where the crown prince Lee Gak seeks to investigate the cause of death of the crown princess played by Jung Yumi. During the investigation, the crown prince Lee Gak suddenly trapped in the current era and meet a new love.

Recently, a post of fan boys from all around the world holding posters or taking picture of Jaejoong is being widely spread. Male group's fans are usually female, it's very rare that men become fans of boy bands, but fan boys take a special liking in Jaejoong.

In the opening of documentary, "The Day", Jaejoong held a Fan Meeting full of surprise. During the Fan Meeting, he greeted a fan boy very friendly, even asked him "where are you from?". All there actions show how important these fan boys are in Jaejoong heart.   

 Jaejoong got shy going to Turkey!


The fans had already been lining up for entrance since morning. While they were waiting for their idol, Jaejoong, they showed their banner and yelled their support with all their strengths. The fans who brought pearl red and white balloons also attracted a lot of attention.


The hall where the fan meeting was held was playing JYJ's music videos and the fans passionately sang along. In loud cheers, Jaejoong appeared on stage, and said "Merhada" ("Hello" in Turkish). As he finished saying this, the fans yelled "welcome" in Korean. Jaejoong, who stood on stage, was moved and bowed again to the fans.

 The Q&A Sessions


The first question was "Do you guys (JYJ) want to hold a concert in Turkey?", and when Jaejoong announced his answer as "yes", the entire hall was filled with cheers and applause.


 The Turkish vocabularies that Jaejoong learned were, "Merhaba" ("Hello") and "Sizi seviyorum" (I love you guys"). He said the reason why he says "I love you guys" a little shyly is because he doesn't  easily say something like this in South Korea (e.g he is embarrassed). And then Jaejoong said that he loved Turkey, and that Turkish girls are very pretty.


When asked what he wanted to do when fo=irst informed that he was visiting Turkey, he said that when he heard Turkey, the first thing he thought of was "ayasofya" (Hagia Sophia). And once, by chance, he ate some Turkish cuisine that was very good, but he didn't know the name of the dish.


When he was asked about JYJ members nicknames, he answered he call junsu "Jun-chan", Yoochun "Parkyoo" and the members call him "JJ". And because he thinks that the nicknames aren't interesting, he was very sorry.  

When talked about his favorite song, Jaejoong answered "In Heaven". And regarding future plans, he said that he want to participate in another TV drama, and if he has a chance, he would like to partake in a musical like Junsu. Jaejoong did not reject the requests of the fans, and song "protect You" from Protect The Boss with his unique voice. Whe he is heading to backstage to change, he realized that a fan made video is being shown, so he sat back and watched the entire video. 


Jaejoong was surprised by the birthday cake prepared for him, and he blew out the candles as the fans sang Happy Birthday in Korean. Jaejoong, as the kind person he is, also accepted flowers from the fans.


After the Q&A session, he gave 20 copies of JYJ "In Heaven" CD signed by all three members to the lucky fans who were chosen. And afterwards, he took photos with another 10 fans as requested.


During the meeting, Jaejoong did not lose his smile at all, and let his fans laughed. Under his wonderful atmosphere, the passionate meeting ended successfully.


During his stay in Turkey, Jaejoong used his smile, modesty and truthfulness to conquer his fans. Before he departed from Turkey, he wrote "The weather in Turkey is really sold, but i'll bring warmth with ma as i head back. Than you Turkey!!". When he was leaving to return to South Korea, the passionate fans did not let him leave alone.

[TRANS] JYJ's Concert in Chile was a great success


Group of Kpop "JYJ" end with success their concert at Teatro Caupolican in Santiago de Chile, the last Friday 9th. About 3000 people filled completely the place and sang along the phrase "Mi Hijito Rico" that in Spanish means "My pretty boys". There were dozens of fans that were camping in front of the Theater and there were some that kept waiting until 4am.


The ones related with JYJ said "Chilean fans were the most euphoric of all the 13 cities of the World Tour that take place in Asia, North America and Europe". That day were not only Chilean fans, but people from Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Venezuela as well. There were also people that traveled 16 hours from Spain to see the trio of JYJ. 


Also in that concert were four people that fainted because of the craziness generated by JYJ, they sang 14 songs like "Empty", "Pierrot", "Ayyy Girl" and others. Even after the concert, because of the huge popularity of Kpop, Korean Journalists were covering the concert, getting a lot of love and kisses from the fans, just because of the thing that they were Koreans.

Yoochun makes known the “monitoring styles” of him and his members

JYJ member Park Yoochun finally makes known to the public the "styles" for which he and his fellow members Junsu an Jaejoong monitor each other. On the evening of March 5th at Jamsil Lotte Hotel during the press conference for his new Wed-Thur drama "Rooftop Prince", Park Yoochun said that his fellow members have always monitoring his performance through the eyes of viewers.

When asked if he did any monitoring himself, Park Yoochun said, "A while back i went to go see a play. I also saw Jaejoong Hyuns "Protect The Boss" when it came out. Rather than monitoring each other's performance, we like to have fun viewing the performance as if were we part of the audience/viewer". Also, "We prefer our own privacy rather that talking about our work specifically with each other".

He also said, "Rather than giving character analysis, feedback or critique, we treat/buy each other food to encourage one another".

Park Yoochun also stated that rather than giving the other two members advice, he taker a step back and simply trusts the other members will do well. He says his job is simple to cheer them on.

Countdown Begins For JYJ In Lima

This March 11 the k-pop fans will have the opportunity to be near one of the most important boy bands of the moment : JYJ will be performing a concert in Lima like the best shows in the world.

The bot band will perform at the Esplanade south of he Estadio Monumental in Ate starting at 8 pm in an event that includes digital set design, runway, special effect and sound quality first class at the same height of the concert JYJ has offered in Seoul and Barcelona, confirmed by Noizu Productions.

JYJ’s "The Day" Ranks No.1 In Ticket Sales

JYJ's documentary movie The Day, released on February 23, ranked first in ticket sales, beating Nameless Gangster.

On February 24, the Korean Film Commission reported that the ticket share of The Day was 17.8%. This is higher than the share of Nameless Gangster, which is 17.0%.

The Day is a documentary film about JYJ member's life and dream. It went through a hard time before it was released. It was expected to air on QTV at first but was cancelled, and later it was planned to be released in CGV but was again cancelled. Eventually, it was exclusively released in Lotte Cinema.

The Day is playing once or twice a day from February 23 to 26. The number of theaters playing the movie is eight in Seoul, five in Gyeonggi, four in Gyeongsang and two in both Chungcheong and Jeolla.

After The Day and Nameless Gangster, hauling ranked third with the share of 12.2% and Man on a Ledgeranked fourth with 11.8%.

[JYJ] Park YooChun, “This Is How Princes Take Pictures”

Actor Lee MinHo and Park Yoochun uploaded a 'dignifying' picture by they took themselves.

On the morning of February 18, Lee uploaded a picture and tweeted, "Your majesty, is this something call selca (self-taken picture)?"

Wearing costumes of the episode of SBS TV's Rooftop Prince that will air on March 14, Park Yoochun, Lee Minho, Jung Seok Won and Choi Woo Sik are making silly expressions.

Park especially attracted attention by looking all dignified like a prince. Park commented, "Tell Yong Sool (played by Jung Seok Won) to smile a bit. Ad i see that Choi San is so happy not worrying about his way back to Jaseon."

[JYJ] Yoochun Explains: “I’m not the man who was threatened by an ex-girlfriend"

 As JYJ's Yoochun is mentioned as the male idol group member A who has recently been threatened by his ex-girlfriend B with his nude video, C-jes Entertainment, JYJ's agency, stated its oggicial position on the issues.

On February 10, C-jes Entertainment said, "It's very unfortunate that there are slanderous articles and rumos about Yoochun spreading around. We ask all of JYJ fans and reporters for your active supports to prevent the spread of such articles and rumors."

C-jes also said, " If it is revealed that the articles and rumors are false and invasion of privacy, we will take legal action against them immediately through our corporation attorney, law firm Sejong."

The first criminal investigation department of the Seoul Center Prosecutors' Office announced that B has been summarily indicted for threatening A with his nude video on February 9.

According to the prosecution, B asked A's agency for a million won with A's nude video that she filmed when she was dating him. She also threatened that she would release the video online if the money was not given. On the basis that B was a first-time offender, the prosecution confiscated the video and B was summarily indicted.

JYJ’s Jaejoong Receives A Special Thanks From ‘Foreign Affairs and Trade’ Minister

JYJ members Jaejoong received a special thank you from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Kim Sung Hwan.

Minister Kim wrote via his twitter page on February 7th, "We had an opportunity for the Ankara University students to speak with Korean president Lee Myung Bak who is visiting Turkey, and JYJ's Jaejoong who currently serving as an honorary ambassador gor Korea's Nuclear Security Summit was with us for a brief while. Thanks you so much." 

"Kim Jaejoong told us that he was in Turkey to participate in an autograph singing event," he continued.

Ahead of this post, Minister Kim also wrote on Februaru 3rd, "I would like to thanks the three members of JYJ who have agreed to serve as honorary ambassador for Korea's Nuclear Security Summit."

Jaejoong was invited by the Korean Embassy in Ankara to hold a fan meeting and greet for 600 fans at the Ankara University in Turkey. On February 6th, he was also invited to dinner at the Presidential Palace in Turkey along with South Korea's president Lee Myung Bak and the president's wife.

Turkish Hallyu Fans Cheered As Hallyu Star Kim Jaejoong Visits

Kim Jaejoong was invited by the Korean Cultural Center in Turkey to open a fan meeting in a hall at Ankara University on Sunday, Fed 5. After a state-owned television channel broadcasted Korean dramas in Turkey, Hallyu wave began. "Korean Fans" in the most representative fanclub in Turkey and has more than 40,000 actively participating fans at present. The Korean Cultural Center has secured an invitation to JYJ's Kim Jaejoong who has the most number of Turkish fans and it hopes to spread Hallyu wave and increase the number of culture exchanges between the two countries through the fan meeting.

All 600 fan meeting tickets were sold out in 30 mins after the Korean Cultural Center made an announcement that they would be distribute on first-come-first served basis. In a few hours, more that 2,000 requested were received. confirming the power of Hallyu wave in Turkey. Calls from fans who could not get the tickets swamped the Korean Cultural Center and Korean Embassy. Turkish fans hope that the fan meeting will cause the opening of more events and performances from entertainers. Meanwhile, on Feb 1st, Miliyet, a Turkish daily newspaper introduced JYJ and provided details on Kim Jaejoong's fan meeting.

JYJ’s Jaejoong Departs For Turkey

JYJ's Jaejoong has departed for Turkey to attend his fan meeting!

As reported previously, the idol will be holding an independent event with his fans at Ankara University. Jaejoong departed for Turkey through Incheon International Airport, wearing a chic all-black ensemble with a luxurious pair of shades.

According to various reports, Jaejoong was mobbed by the paparazzi as soon as he appeared at the airport. Jaejoong kept his cool, however and strolled to the departure gate with his security team.

The JYJ member will be meeting his Turkish fans on February 5th (local time).
