Action-Comedy "Jackal Is Coming" Begins Shooting

Filming has begun on The Jackal Is Coming, an action comedy movie that pretty much hooked my interest with its one-line premise : A bungling killer (Song JiHyo) is hired ti kidnap an pop singer (Jaejoong) and fails in multiple ways to kill him. There's no mention of it in the description so far, but does she also fall in love with him? That's the obvious conclusion, isn't it? Obvious in the way of Korean movie and dramas, i mean, not obvious in the way of life, because that's just insane.


The casting seems pretty spot-on, and the goofy plot line has plenty of comic possibilities. I'm basically seeing it as another version of the Myung-wol The Spy concept, except hopefully funnier, and with a hopefully less asstastic hero. Basically i'm just looking for somebody to reboot the premise and do it justice, since i want it to work, despite the mess that the series was.   


Meanwhile, the pop singer will also have a dogged, invasive stalker (the kind knows as a "sasaeng fan," which describes those fans with no concept of boundaries or privacy concerns when it comes to their favorite idol oppas), played by Joo MinHa (Queen Of Housewives).


There stills come from the movie's first shoots, taken in a factory where our heroine, Song JiHyo, finds herself in the midst of a police chase. The role calls for a decent amount of action, as there stills suggest, ad i think i've seen enough a Ace jiHyo on Running Man to say she's up to the task.


Ther movie plans to release later this year.

I'm dying to see this 'behind the scene'... Jaejoong looks like he was arrested, tied up and barefoot. No matter what he's doing, no matter how he's looks like, i just Love him. Cannot wait for this movie.. Jaejoong fighting!!

Jaejoong Is A Mass Entertainer

Prepares for Taiwan fan meeting and new album, movie and drama shoot. Kim Jaejoong from JYJ is keeping busy. Jaejoong will be active all-around along with his movie and drama. He also has the Taiwan fan meeting and new album to prepare for. Jaejoong currently in the middle of MBC weekend drama "Dr.Jin". He acts out the warrior who has the best martial arts skills. He is about to expand his area in this fusion historical drama. 


He will start shooting the movie, "Jackal Is Coming". Chungmuro has its eyes on this newly rising actor who will make his first debut in the movie as a popular singer. His comical act is something everyone is looking forward to. Jaejoong will depart for Taiwan on the 23rd in the middle of the movie and will start on his new JYJ album in July and August.


C-JeS Entertainment explained, "Jaejoong was offered the OST participation in the movie or drama. We are making sure he make it to all of his busy routines without harm".

Jaejoong And Song JiHyo At "Jackal Comes" Gosa Ceremony

 

Info : Gosa ceremonies are usually done before movie/drama premieres, store/brand launchings when things are set to begin to ask for goodwill.


The movie "jackal Is Coming", which attracted the attention of the public by casting as leading roles JYJ Kim Jaejoong, hallyu star that has explosive popularity across Asia, and actress Song Jihyo who received much love from the viewers as an ace of SBS's variety show "Running Man", had a gosa ceremony wishing for great success on May 9th at Nomad Film located in Chungmuro Film Center of Dongguk University, Seoul.  


The main cast including Song Jihyo, Kim Jaejoong, Oh Dalsoo, Han Sangjin, Kim Sungryung, Kim Yonggun, etc... and all the staff including Director Bae Hyungjoon, representative Cha Seungpyo of Nomad Film and the official of Lotte Shopping and Lotte Entertainment, all gathered in one place, praying for the success of "Jackal Is Coming".


Especially JYJ Kim Jaejoong, who has his debut in the movie world with the role of top star 'Choi Hyun' in Jackal Is Coming", has greeted every staff, "I will do all my best. I depend on your help," showing his passion for the movie. He also lent his shoulder to Song Jihyo, who was having hard time taking off her shoes, creating a new term "Manner Shoulder" and  giving the feeling of the birth of a warm couple.


Another translate : During the ceremony, Jaejoong helped Jihyo take her shoes off by letting her put her hand on his shoulder during gosa. When Jihyo had hard time taking off her shoes, JJ lent his shoulder for her to put on her shoes. His shoulder was called "Manner Shoulder" after this. Gentleman!

Song JiHyo - Kim Jaejoong To Star As Leads In The Film "Jackal Comes"

Actress Song JiHyo and Singer/Actor Kim Jaejoong are to star as the lead characters in the upcoming film "Jackal Comes" (Director by Pe Hyun Joon)


"Jackal Comes" will be under the production of Nomad Films and officials from both their side as well as JiHyo and Jaejoong's management company, C-JeS entertainment, have stated that Song JiHyo and Kim Jaejoong will star in "Jackal Comes" as the female and male protagonists respectively. On April 20th, C-Jes entertainment officials stated the first readings for the movie will be finished soon. 


"Jackal Comes" is a story about an unstable female bar singer who kidnaps a popular singer and tries to kill him, causing police to be dispatched and go through a number of comedic episodes trying to stop her. Both Song JiHyo and Kim Jaejoong fit well with the characters they will play and will bring their own unique colors to the scenarios portrayed in the movie.


Currently Song JiHyo is getting much love from the public for her charming, fresh appeal and work on the popular SBS variety show "Running Man". This will be JiHyo's best first time in 4 years coming back to the movie scene since the 2008 film "Frozen Flower".


From being an actor as well as a singer, Kim Jaejoong is advancing past the realm of dramas onto the big screen. In 2009, Jaejoong starred in the film "Heaven 's Postman", but this is his first time being a lead in a full-length movie that will be shown to widespread commercial audiences. Last year, Jaejoong was recognized for his superior acting skills in SBS's drama "Protect the Boss" and will be making another broadcast appearance soon as a lead role in the upcoming drama "Time Slip Dr. Jin". [Jaejoong] is expected to reveal a different set of charms for this big screen.


The Director of "Jackal Comes" is Pe Hyun Joon, who has directed past works such as "Don't Believe Your Girlfriend" and "Boys Don't Cry". This film will be distributed through LOTTE Entertainment. Along with Song JiHyo and Kim Jaejoong,  a large supporting cast will also be joining. The film is expected to be in theaters by September or October.
