Jaejoong Is A Mass Entertainer

Prepares for Taiwan fan meeting and new album, movie and drama shoot. Kim Jaejoong from JYJ is keeping busy. Jaejoong will be active all-around along with his movie and drama. He also has the Taiwan fan meeting and new album to prepare for. Jaejoong currently in the middle of MBC weekend drama "Dr.Jin". He acts out the warrior who has the best martial arts skills. He is about to expand his area in this fusion historical drama. 


He will start shooting the movie, "Jackal Is Coming". Chungmuro has its eyes on this newly rising actor who will make his first debut in the movie as a popular singer. His comical act is something everyone is looking forward to. Jaejoong will depart for Taiwan on the 23rd in the middle of the movie and will start on his new JYJ album in July and August.


C-JeS Entertainment explained, "Jaejoong was offered the OST participation in the movie or drama. We are making sure he make it to all of his busy routines without harm".

Jaejoong Will Hold A Solo Fan Meeting In May With 2500 Seats In Taipei

JYJ member Kim Jaejoong's solo fan meeting will be held in Taipei.
Jaejoong will hold "2012 Kim Jaejoong Fanmeeting in Taipei," a solo fan meeting with 2500 seats, at ATT Hall in Taipei, Taiwan on May 23rd.


Jaejoong's agency C_JeS Entertainment said on 30th "This fan meeting is prepared as an event to repay the popularity os SBS's drama "Protect the Boss", which Jaejoong made an appearance."   


The promoter in Taiwan said "Protect the Boss" which was aired on GTV last year enjoys immense public popularity in Taiwan that even its rebroadcasting is being discussed. It is because of Jaejoong's unrivaled popularity, until now the number of online fans of Jaejoong has been officially aggregated more that 100,000."


At present, it has been proving to be very popular that the search result of "Protect the Boss" reached more than 200 in Chinese famous portal site "Baidu" and  280 thousand search result in Chinese famous portal site "Sogou" as well.


During this fan meeting, stories behind the filming "Protect the Boss" and his recent state will be revealed and there will interaction with Chine fans. He will also sing drama OST "I'll Protect You" compose and written by Jaejoong.

"Time Slip Dr.Jin" is a medical drama telling the story of the best doctor of South Korea in 2012, who travels through the time and struggles as a doctor in Joseon during the 1860s. The drama will have its first airing on May 26th.

Song JiHyo - Kim Jaejoong To Star As Leads In The Film "Jackal Comes"

Actress Song JiHyo and Singer/Actor Kim Jaejoong are to star as the lead characters in the upcoming film "Jackal Comes" (Director by Pe Hyun Joon)


"Jackal Comes" will be under the production of Nomad Films and officials from both their side as well as JiHyo and Jaejoong's management company, C-JeS entertainment, have stated that Song JiHyo and Kim Jaejoong will star in "Jackal Comes" as the female and male protagonists respectively. On April 20th, C-Jes entertainment officials stated the first readings for the movie will be finished soon. 


"Jackal Comes" is a story about an unstable female bar singer who kidnaps a popular singer and tries to kill him, causing police to be dispatched and go through a number of comedic episodes trying to stop her. Both Song JiHyo and Kim Jaejoong fit well with the characters they will play and will bring their own unique colors to the scenarios portrayed in the movie.


Currently Song JiHyo is getting much love from the public for her charming, fresh appeal and work on the popular SBS variety show "Running Man". This will be JiHyo's best first time in 4 years coming back to the movie scene since the 2008 film "Frozen Flower".


From being an actor as well as a singer, Kim Jaejoong is advancing past the realm of dramas onto the big screen. In 2009, Jaejoong starred in the film "Heaven 's Postman", but this is his first time being a lead in a full-length movie that will be shown to widespread commercial audiences. Last year, Jaejoong was recognized for his superior acting skills in SBS's drama "Protect the Boss" and will be making another broadcast appearance soon as a lead role in the upcoming drama "Time Slip Dr. Jin". [Jaejoong] is expected to reveal a different set of charms for this big screen.


The Director of "Jackal Comes" is Pe Hyun Joon, who has directed past works such as "Don't Believe Your Girlfriend" and "Boys Don't Cry". This film will be distributed through LOTTE Entertainment. Along with Song JiHyo and Kim Jaejoong,  a large supporting cast will also be joining. The film is expected to be in theaters by September or October.

JYJ To Hold Large-Scale Exposition In June 2012

Group JYJ will hold a huge fan exhibition in June for the first time in Korea.


On April 5, the group's agency, C-JeS Entertainment, said JYJ will hold the "2012 JYJ Membership Week" starting on June 28 for 4 days in Seoul. Since JYJ toured the world, there are many fans from all over the world. The event was conducted by the agency for those fans.


The agency is currently having a membership system for Korean fans. They are going to expand the service for Japanese fans and they will hold a fan meeting in June and invite 15,000 Korean and Japanese people randomly. For the Japanese who will attend the event, the agency will provide cheap plane ticket and accommodation as a special package. Korean and Japanese fans who have a membership can attend the event for free.


Since the event is a huge exhibition which will be held in Korea for the first time, various event are planned to be held. The event will introduce JYJ's activities, hold photo exhibition, and create a food zone with JYJ's recommendation.   


Beak Chang Joo, president of the agency, says, "The event will be Korea's first big fan exhibition where the members can see, hear and feel about everything of JYJ."


JYJ members are keeping busy individually appearing on TV dramas and musicals.

Jaejoong Receiving IV Treatments For Exhaustion

On March 16, JYJ's  Park Yoochun and actor Park Yoohwan laid their father to rest at the Seoul Memorial Park. The funeral ceremony took place at the Sungmo Hospital in Seoul, and fellow JYJ and C-Jes Entertainment members stayed by the brother's side throughout the ordeal. However, many noticed that Jaejoong was nowhere to be seen.

It's been revealed that Jaejoong was unable to attend because he had collapsed in exhaustion. For the past three days, he could not stop his tears as he helplessly stood by Yoochun and his family. A representative stated,  "Jaejoong has been crying nonstop since he arrived in Korea following the tour in South America. He showed signs of exhaustion, so we sent him home. He's currently in a state where he's not able to do anything and he's receiving IV treatments. He'll need some time to rest and recover."

[Breaking News] JYJ’s Park Yoochun’s Father Passes Away

The death of JYJ's Park Yoochun and actor Park Yoohwan's father has been reported. Officials of C-jes entertainment company has commented, "The father of the two brothers Park Yoochun and Park Yoohwan, has past away. We have been told that he was suffering from a chronic illness."  Yoohwan was notified of this sad news while shooting for Channel A's drama, "Kpop Survival", whilst Yoochun is currently returning home after holding a concert in Peru. The wake will be at St.Mary's Hospital in Seoul.

JYJ 's Kim Junsu Is Already So Slim, Yet Why Did He Lose 6kg?

Recently, male group JYJ member Kim Junsu went on a severe diet and lost 6kg, presenting an almost unrecognisable new image which gave those around him a shock.

JYJ's management company C-JeS personnel recently met the press and said, "Recently, Kim Junsu lost 6kg" "His change in image is so great that those around him can hardly recognise him, and his face look really different after losing weight."

In actuality, after losing 6kg, Kim Junsu has become more agile, and his features became more prominent, and he is looking kike a different person altogether.

A person like him with not much weight to lose, had decided to lose weight due to his participation in the musical "Elizabeth." In the musical, there is a scene where he wares sheer clothes that hide nothing about his body, so he decided to lose some weight so that he could show a more handsome side of Kim Junsu to the fans.

JYJ’s "The Day" Will Be Released On February 23rd In Lotte Cinemas

A documentary movie, featuring JYJ's everyday life, will officially hit Lotte Cinemas.

On February 14, JYJ's agency, C-JeS Entertainment said, "Since CGV decided not to release the documentary movie "The Day" , we will release it in Lotte Cinemas on February 23. The movie is a perfect version of the JYJ story for their fans." 

"Since we had to change our schedules, JYJ members will not able to visit all the theaters to meet people. But they will visit several theaters in Seoul on the day of its release and during the weekends. They also prepared a surprise video for fan who lives outside of Seoul."

The group members also sent a message to their fans through a video for Valentines Day.

They said, "Happy Valentines Day! We love you."

The movie will be released on February 23 in 17 Lotte Cinemas.

JYJ's documentary film to open at cinemas next week

SEOUL, Feb. 14 (Yonhap) - A documentary film featuring the daily lives and dreams of three members of K=pop boy band "JYJ" will open at local theaters next week, the group's entertainment agency said Tuesday.

The 90-minute film title "The Day" will be shown at Lotte Cinema's 17 major chain theaters across the country starting Feb. 23, C-JeS Entertainment Co. said.

Fans who were disappointed by CGV Cinemas decision to pull JYJ's documentary will now be able to watch the film through Lotte Cinema!

On February 14th, JYJ's agency C-JeS Entertainment said, "JYJ's documentary which couldn't be shown due to CGV suddenly canceling the contract, will be screened by Lotte Cinema starting from February 23rd. The documentary was edited to be appealing to fans and will be filled with real stories and scenes from their daily lives."

They continued, "Due to conflicting schedules, it is not likely that JYJ will be able to come greet fans at each of the premieres. However, they are planned to attend the opening day and weekend in Seoul. JYJ has prepared a special video for their fans in the cities that they will not able to go to."

JYJ's documentary, "The Day" will be shown through Lotte Cinema in 17 theaters, it will have its first screening on February 23rd. The specifics will be released on February 17th through C-JeS Entertainment's official website and on Lotte Cinema's homepage.

JYJ’s Documentary, QTV Followed By A Screening Misfire From CGV– Why?

The screening of JYJ's (Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu) documentary has suddenly been cancelled. The documentary that was filmed at QTV was not aired on broadcast, and so JYJ's management, CJES, announced that a documentary titled "A Day" would be screened on February 9th. 

JYJ had begun holding meetings to discuss details with CGV since December 15th, and their second meeting was on January 16th where they discussed further details. On the 19th, contract details were examined and on the 20th the contract was received. But it was after this day that CGV gave a sudden notice of cancellation by telephone. 

JYJ management stated, "At that time, CGV said that the final authorization for the contract had not been given so they needed to initialize that. But on the 25th we received a notice that the contract had been cancelled."

CGV management stated in this notice, "To the new managers, in regards to the process of briefing that we have conducted for the screening of "The Day", internal reports and further progress have not been appropriately conducted according to the rules. Internally, to focus on the innovation of "The Day", it has not been done well according to specific processes, and therefore due to strict regulations we have fallen into this kind of a difficult situation.

JYJ's management stated, "The business people that own the channel and are abusing their position, CJES will be taking action against CGV for this sudden one sided breaking of a contract through the Fair Trade Commision by filing a complaint to the committee of grievances and complaints. "They added, "For this situation that CGV has created that we don't understand, we demand for a viable answer."
