JYJ To Hold Large-Scale Exposition In June 2012

Group JYJ will hold a huge fan exhibition in June for the first time in Korea.


On April 5, the group's agency, C-JeS Entertainment, said JYJ will hold the "2012 JYJ Membership Week" starting on June 28 for 4 days in Seoul. Since JYJ toured the world, there are many fans from all over the world. The event was conducted by the agency for those fans.


The agency is currently having a membership system for Korean fans. They are going to expand the service for Japanese fans and they will hold a fan meeting in June and invite 15,000 Korean and Japanese people randomly. For the Japanese who will attend the event, the agency will provide cheap plane ticket and accommodation as a special package. Korean and Japanese fans who have a membership can attend the event for free.


Since the event is a huge exhibition which will be held in Korea for the first time, various event are planned to be held. The event will introduce JYJ's activities, hold photo exhibition, and create a food zone with JYJ's recommendation.   


Beak Chang Joo, president of the agency, says, "The event will be Korea's first big fan exhibition where the members can see, hear and feel about everything of JYJ."


JYJ members are keeping busy individually appearing on TV dramas and musicals.

JYJ Performs For The First Ladies Of The World At "Blue House"

Idol group JYJ performed for many of the First Ladies of the world.



On March 27th, JYJ was invited to the "Nuclear Summit First Ladies Event" at the Blur House and performed their hit songs, "Be My Girl" as well as "In Heaven".


The Girst Ladies came from Gabon, Nigeria, South Africa, Malaysia, Vietnam, Switzerland, Singapore, Italy, India, Indonesia, China, Chile, The Philippines, countries in the United Nations, the European Union and more. The First ladies reportedly enjoyed the performance, maintaining a smile on their faces throughout the event.


According to JYJ's representative, the First Ladies from Switzerland, Vietnam, The Philippines, Chile and South Africa stayed after the performance was over to take a photograph with JYJ.


Korean First Ladies Kim Yoon Oak greeted Park Yoochun personally, saying "I am enjoying your new drama 'Rooftop Prince".


The publicist of the event planning committee remarked, "All the First Ladies, including Kim Yoon Oak responded positively to the performance. This has been another opportunity to spread more K-POP awareness all over the world".


The JYJ members remarked, "We are so glad we have been invited to such a meaningful event, sharing Korea's excellence with the first ladies of the world. We are proud that we had a chance to promote the glory of our nation after out worls tour came to an end, and though it was a short performance, we hope that this offered the first ladies a cherished memory of Korea".  


In related news, the JYJ members are juggling a busy schedule with roles in drama series, musicals, amongst other individual activities.
